Leagues?

Hello,

I am new to the whole league thing and I wasnt sure whats currently going on. The leagues on the website, are those current and still functioning? Also, are their other leagues that are going on that aren't listed under the league tab on the website?

Im pretty new to the scene as well and have found that the folks Ive met through this site are pretty top notch and great to go throw with.

As far as I know those leauges are up and running. The best place to check is through the courses section in the forums. http://stlouisdiscgolfclub.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=9 Just choose your favorite course and look through the post's there. The leagues are usually stickied.

I play in the Jefferson Barracks (JB) Summer League and the people out there are great. Ive learned an amazing amount from them thus far and they are always willing to help us newbs.

We run a league out in Festus every Thursday @ West City Park. It's random draw doubles and you only need $5 a week to play.

It's good times and an awesome course, come check it out sometime.

And we have a Thursday night league at White Birch Park in Hazelwood. Two-man teams, & our summer league starts next Thursday, June 3rd. Always a good time, & a very competitive league for sure..........

The Traveling LAKERS welcome all skill levels. We play on Thursdays @ 5 pm and Sundays @ 9am. We do not keep weekly records and we focus on having FUN! You never have to pay to play with the LAKERS, but if you want to pay $3 that will give you a chance to win the overall, skins, and be entered into the ongoing hole-n-1. We travel to all of our local courses, a differant one each time. Our rules tend to lean more towards fun as well, 1 example is if you go over the road and land on grass you are still in bounds. We do a gang golf format so it does take a longer but it leads to a lot of comaraderie. The LAKERS would love to have you and all, come out to have a great time. As a bonus, during the week, quite often we have a current world champ play with us. Not to many leagues can make that claim.

Also on Wednesdays is the Creve Couer random draw doubles. You do not need to bring a partner. Just show up it is $5.00 to play and a dollar more if you want to do ace pool. Contact Ben Hart if you are interested in this one at 314-560-9916

Quail Ridge has a tuesday doubles league that you can still get into. It is $25.00 per man for an 8 week period. Contact Andy Majesky if you are looking to get in to this one.
