All of our trial events have been completed. At this point, we are waiting for the cities response. We are hopeful that we can begin installation soon... keep your fingers crossed.

Is this the right location to ask about a Willmore update? It really makes a difference where/if I decide to find a new apartment.

I would not like to make any promises and I cannot speak to any timelines, but... as of now:

The city has approved the installation of a course in Willmore Park.
The club is working on funding, as we will be soley responsible for all costs.
The course will be installed in the first half of this year.

We are not able to give any more specific information than that at this time.

I will keep this topic updated when actual and specific information is appropriate.

So, any word? Anything? Has it been 86'ed? Is it still a go? I noticed that the pending word days have been dropped from the emails I get every week.

Daniel asked that I remove the Wilmore work days from the email blast to not distract from Sioux Passage work days. The sooner SP is complete, the sooner we will focus on Wilmore. The city has approved the course and the ball is in our court. BTW, the club is paying for both courses. Our membership dollars help pay for course improvements and installations. If you (generic) play disc golf and are not a member yet, please support us and join the club. Talk to your friends too about joining. We have to raise $8000ish per course just to get baskets in the ground.

Yeah clane, no worries.

We need to get Sioux Passage done and we need to raise the money to get the baskets for Willmore. Work days for Willmore will be very mild and won't require anywhere near the hard labor that the new course at Sioux is taking. So, put the effort in on Sioux and after that's done, Willmore will probably be in and open before you know it.
