Supposedly the city has asked for the design at Wilmore Park to be refined a bit more so that they can take a serious look and make their decision. Honestly, this doesn't mean much, but it is a step in the right direction. It looks like they might actually be willing to let us have some space finally...

Thanks for the update. That's encouraging, if nothing else.

Working on a course proposal project. Here is what would be the view from Tee #1 (400',) some before shots, and photo # 7 is overlooking the land for the possible course install. I know everyone here loves trees on the course, if so, this may not be the course for you right off the bat, but this will have a more prairie/savanna style feel to it. I am a plant/tree/outdoors geek so I have some stringent specifications for the area.I am hoping to make it unique from every other course nearby... And have some tricks up my sleeve that may do just that... ;)

Stuck a portable basket at the end just for show... We are going to be taking some people out on it to show some investors/grant opportunities what disc golf is and the "plan" thus far and how it will impact the community. Just thought I would give everyone a taste of a "top secret" project. Once the $$$ is secured I may be reaching out to the STL Disc Golf community for help! Please keep theses photos within the forum for now until I am given the "ok" to go public so to speak!

If you haven't already, make sure to head up to Indian Camp Creek. Very much a "savannah" style course where tall grass defines the fairways.

Awesome I will check it out. The only courses I have researched thus far are: Endicott, Carrollton, Sioux Passage, Jefferson Barracks, Whilmoore. Most of these courses thus far have mature trees and/or good canopy cover, and the area we have to work with has very few. Thank you for your input Stubborn Puppet! You have been a great resource thus far.

Has there ever been any idea of putting a course in at Chesterfield Central Park? Off of hwy 40 and Chesterfield Parkway.

None that I've heard of Ravens. Generally, the first step is someone convincing the local parks dept. and city govt. to approve it.
