DISC GOLF at LINDENWOOD

I have heard from a pretty reliable source that Lindenwood University in ST. Charles has a new course in the works. I will post more details as I get them. I am especially excited becuase I live at LIndenwood and my backyard opens up to the field that they are planning on putting in the course. I have been playing for about four months, so i am really excited to have the course so close.

From what I have seen and heard is that David McCormack from Gateway has plans already laid out for the course and that Lindenwood has approved the funding. Last I heard is that Lindenwood is waiting until after the fall semester starts to breakground on the course. I will keep everyone up to speed.

Would this be a "private" course?

Also, what part of the property do you think they'll be using for the course?

As far as I know the course will be public but I have not heard for sure. My contact on this is out of town on vacation this week but I will see him this weekend. The course is going to be in the field by duchesne. It is a good sized piece of land with a few trees and a lake. The land has a a couple of hills that should add a bit of difficulty to the course. I will keep posting information when I get it. Probably this weekend or early next week.

I heard two days ago that Lindenwood has given the go ahead to start the first nine holes. I hope it gets going soon.
