Big changes at Lindenwood...

Attention everyone:

Get your rounds in at LU because time is running out to play the disc golf course at Lindenwood. Holes 1 thru 8 will be closed for construction as of 4 PM on Wednesday August 10th until further notice. The course will be closed for the installation of a new tennis complex at the university.

The course will be redesign and as of right now will remain an 18 hole course. Stay tuned for details and opportunities to play the new course before it goes in the ground.

Please direct any question you may have at me and I will answer them as quickly as I can.

Holes two thru 8 have been pulled. Holes 1 & 9 will remain open for the next 2 to 4 weeks. The new LU course will open back up sometime this winter. If you would like to help out please call or message me. I will keep putting updates on here as things begin to come together.

Update on Lindenwood:

The back 10 is still in the ground.

Dave Mac and I have come up with what I think is a great design. Some short holes with a few where you can still air it out. We have 4 woods holes left where holes 4-8 used to be with the possibility of one more where the old 14 used to be.

I am working on a date to get a temp course set up so we can finalize the pins and get them in. I am thinking of December 17th. Are there any conflicts with that date. It has to be on a saturday so I can be there.

The course will be set up with temporary baskets. If all goes well I will work to get final approval on the design. Hopefully by the start of spring semester we will have a new course.

LU is dry campus. As unpopular as it may be no alcoholic beverages will be permitted during the playing of the temp course.

I will also need 6 temp baskets. So if anyone can help me out let me know. Also let me know if you can make it. I want to get a good turn out so spread the word.
