Hardly any of the masters showed up, so we had to lower the split age to around 30. 21 people showed to play with 1 team of 10 and another of 11, we took the top 9 scores from each team. The Young Guns had the lead at the break and added to it in the second round for a total score of
Young Guns: 970
Old Fogies: 995

Here are the teams/scores

Young Guns
Bryan Johnson: 49_51_100
Ryan Robbins: 53_50_103
Jeff Irwin: 52_53_105
Chris Boro: 54_51_105
Morgan Hart: 55_53_108
Andy Garret: 60_51_111 (60 was dropped 1st round)
Zack Williams: 54_59_113
Chris Albanese: 53_61_114 (61 was dropped 2nd round)
Joe Hart: 55_59_114
Tom Williams: 62_59_121 (62 was dropped 1st round)
Matt Radtke: 59_62_121 (62 was dropped 2nd round)

"Old" Fogies
Dave Rose: 54_48_102
Dave Mac: 52_52_104
Jerry Barklage: 55_52_107
Ben Hart: 55_52_107
Brad Rush: 55_56_111
Greg Dohogne: 56_56_112
Bob Waidmann: 58_60_118
Dave Wilson: 59_59_118
Mark Kane: 61_60_121 (61 was dropped 1st round)
Tom Murdick: 56_DNF (DNF was dropped 2nd round)

FIRST ROUND
Young: 484
Old: 500

SECOND ROUND

Disc up,
I have no excuse, I f*cked up, I trusted someone. I was out the door at 09:00 am on the way when I got a phone call saying they already had plenty of old ones in attendance. Instead of going out and making sure I just went to Creve Couer and played. Once I got to CC my old brain forgot about the event as now that I am a GM I forget things. Perhaps a listing of who was actually playing would have helped me or a phone call saying where are you. I tend to forget things now that I am a GM. I apologizefor my lack of commitment on this. I do not deserve to carry your bag straps :o as I did not even show up.

Bruce,
Don't beat yourself up, the guy who came up with the idea and volunteered to Captain the "Old Fogie" Team didn't even show up! :o So, technically, the "Masters" forfeited before the event even got started...

I had my reasons (a couple of them) for not showing up. But, considering the fact that Roger didn't even show, I feel I made the right decision to skip this. I'm surprised you guys didn't just cancel, it looks like hardly any 40+yrs showed up at all. Sorry I was one of those. :|

Unbelievable, the old guys are definitely score wise better than the youngins. I still would have not traded Farmaid 2009 for any golf! Amazing the captain did not show up or coordinate, apparently. Old guys need to be called.

FBI I would hope there is some wild story you might get people to believe, communication is the only way, the older you get, to get us older golfers on board!

Word of the day, communication.

Peace
