HITMAN wrote:So what your saying is that when you came up w/ this idea in December you where planing on having the event shortly before the Ryder cup? sick as a dog an Saturday? you were in Springfield at a tourney. how stupid do you think people are? Jerry did more work trying to put a team together in the 15 hours notice you gave him than you did in the 4 weeks leading up to the event. I think what happened is that you figured you weren't going to get your way so you said to hell w/ it. lets say you were sick then where was the rest of your team? You had responsibilities as a captain and you did nothing other than call Jerry and dump them on him. Why would you bother running for an operations position? I think you have shown us what we can expect from you as a leader.

Morgan,
finally we see the same. peace my friend,

Now wait a gosh darn, bag throwin into a fence minute  Roger hit it on the head I believe that this was a call out for the more talented individuals that would be fielding our Ryder Cup team. Things kinda got out of control and it probably was very confusing for most everyone except me,(and possibly Golfer-X) But that's because we know the RCF thread code breaking process. In order to understand Rogers posts, you kind of had to use a similar kind of code breaking technique that you use to decipher Ron's posts. :ugeek: With Ron, you get either an abbreviation or a catch phrase that makes you really think, WOW, and then you kind of drift into a daydream imagining Ron on a Disc Golf course and wishing you could be there with him hitting the basket and landing on the green after each toss!
With Roger, its different, first you have to figure out all the misspelled words, then you know where he is coming from, but when he does not respond.....Bingo, the code is broken....He is telling you, the reader, that you are so far off what he was trying to say in the thread that it is just better to end the thread.
I figured it out when I posted all those names and Roger did not reply. That was when the code stared me in the eye. I just could not quite guess what it was that he meant yet, but it definitely was not what he intended. What threw me off was how the reference to the Masters vs Open concept applied to the Ryder Cup team, which is exactly what Roger had actually in mind, if you read the very first post of this thread. The idea just kind of morphed into a team concept and by the time I got to the thread the match changed from a Ryder Cup warm up to another very good idea, but not what Roger had intended. I definitely love playing with quality disc golf players, but in reality, unless I play alot more, the Ryder Cup match Roger envisioned probably would not include myself, which I am OK with(but inevitably a line up list would be required). On the other hand we developed a new format that is similar to cross town challenge but we can create a full turnout by making teams where skill levels could be some opens, some masters, some advances and some ams on each team.
Sorry Roger I see where you are coming from, good luck on the Ryder Cup Matches I definitely will try to get out to see them and support the team.
Ron and Roger sorry I did but, thanks in advance for letting me poke some fun with you guys.
