I know there is a lot that goes into a worlds bid, but st louis does have a lot of things going for it. It seems like midwestern areas are chosen, to make even travel for both coasts. There's definitely enough courses in the area (big 4, possibly unger down the road, west city, alton, and collinsville). It also seems like the stl open is getting bigger and better each year, and I think the growth potential for the sport in the area would appeal to the PDGA also. Not to mention st louis is the home of one of the biggest names on the pdga tour at the moment.
