I just registered for this event. They played this course at the worlds when they were in KC.I heard nothing but good things about it.It is a private course that is only open for fundraiser tournaments.So lets get some people going and have a big party in KC.

Myself, Flapper and Nick Misuraca played in this event the first year it was held. It was at another course then though. I do hear great things about this private course. It was a well run event and it's for a great cause. Unfortunately I have nowhere to stay there until my buddy in KC closes on his new house in a few months. I can't wait to get back over there to play!

I wish I could say there was camping available but the owner isn't quite that generous!

Also, a few things we've added, with more to come:
- Vodka
Clear 10, a local KC distiller is going to provide a 'signature' drink during lunch.
- Beer
Tallgrass Brewery from Manhattan, KS will be providing beer during lunch.

This in addition to great tunes, the players pack, huge ring of fire, an awesome lunch
and a kick ars course to play on!

Prizes are awarded to the top three teams in three flights. We flight at the end like a ball golf tournament.
I point this out becasue people (very few) have whined about this in the past. It's for charity, go shoot your best round(s) and let the chips fall where they may.

Are there any motels close by?

the course is near 167th and Metcalf.

If you go to google maps there are hotels at 135th and Metcalf and 119th and Metcalf

Not sure of price etc but I would guess they have weekend discounts since all are 'business' hotels.
