Ok I didn't get to play Endicott in the 2010 St. Louis Open but I play there all the time and have been there recently. I did get a chance to meet Tim who has done a lot of work at Endicott. Tim you are the man.
Here is my 2 cents on what we can do to improve the course. Not improve the walk from one hole to another. Hole 5 I feel could use some well placed tress to separate this hole from hole 6. Many time the drive on 5 ends up in 6's fairway. Also, with the lost trees on 5 it just makes sence to play the A placement now.
I'd like to see trees planted to take away the hyzer shot on hole 10. It was never designed for a hyzer.
The C placement on hole 15 is just wrong. The good thing is I rarely see it used.
I also don't like the line the fairway with wood. It make look cool, but all this does is offer a backstop for your bad drive to hit and keep it in the fairway. This really comes into play if your rolling.
I'm told the trees are coming in the fall.
