Disc up golfers,

The LAKERS will be going to Alton this Sunday We have pushed back our starting time to 11:00. I will run a 50/50 with the proceeds going to help with pad installation.
Rumor has it that you all are going out there as well on Sunday. Is this true or will it be true? Maybe we can make this some kind of tag challenge for all? Just a idea to keep the fun level up. I will be bringing #27 if I do not change between now and Sunday.

There was an article on stltoday.com today that didn't really say a thing about disc golf, but did have a few pics of some ladies out playing at Woodland. Any exposure is better then nothing I guess...

i love the place, but the litter there is atrocious.

i'll chip in for a 'everyone brings a trash bag, plays a round, and gets free beer at a pavillion at the end' party.

"Trash (pickup), Thrash (throwin discs), and Smash (beer cans on foreheads) Day?"

i'll supply a bunch of bags and some of the beer.

i was actually a little ashamed at the way the place looked.

The LAKERS will be coming out Sunday at 09:00, and bringing the men from Wisconson. We know that it is Easter Sunday but these guys came all the way here so we intend to show them a good time. Be there, have fun!!
