Club Championships - SCCDGC - September 22nd

Our club championships have been moved up this year to September 22nd. I’ll post more info as it gets closer, but wanted to get some info out now.

The pricing structure to join the club for the past year was based partly on the limited funds we had available. We are much better off financially this year and it has been voted on to change the membership fees to $25 which includes a club stamped disc and your 2013 bag tag. You can also join for $20, but that does not include a disc.

There are some exciting projects on the horizon, but in order to get things accomplished we need the money to do so. I’m certainly not going to harass or pressure anyone to sign up, but will simply ask that if you want to see the courses improved and/or new courses please consider joining.

With this said, we are going to take requests for discs to try and give those that sign up first an opportunity to get a disc of their choice. Please post here or contact me with the disc you want, the weight and color. The stamp for the disc should be ready by this weekend and I’ll post once it is available.

We have 8 models to choose from. There are no guarantees on color, but I should be able to get the disc you want in the correct weight and will try to get the correct color. The sooner you request the better chance you have of getting exactly what you want. The discs will be available starting at the club championships. If you are unable to make it to that and have requested a disc I’ll hold onto your disc for a reasonable amount of time.

The following are the discs and the weight ranges to choose from. We will be placing the order in about 2 weeks, so if there is a high demand for a certain model/weight we may be able to change the order a bit if needed.

The membership discs have arrived along with some other goodies. I don't think the pic of the individual disc do them justice, but Nelms has seen them first hand and liked them. A very big thanks to Daniel Doss for doing the design...awesome job! I'm going to start matching up the discs with all of the requests and will contact anyone who has already requested if I can't match it up exactly. If anyone else would like to request a specific disc please let me know...we have plenty.

I posted this on our Facebook page, but forgot to post it here. We are going to take $5 off the membership fees next year for all players who represented the SCCDGC at the 4 Club Showdown. If you play in the club champs the cost will be $25 and if you join anytime after that the cost will be $20. Thanks guys and nice shooting!
