19th Annual White Birch Classic- August, 18, 2012

On Sat., August 18th, the 19th Annual White Birch Classic will take place in Hazelwood, MO.

Two rounds of Individual play, Final nine Championship Round for the top four in each division.

Available divisions-- Open, Masters, Advanced, Amateur, Novice 10:00 A.M. Tee Time

Fees are-- $15.00- Resident, $20.00- Non-Res. A t-shirt & lunch for all players.......

One of the longest running annual tournaments in the STL area, & always a good time.......see you there!!

By the way, the original date for this tournament had to be changed so.....the proper date IS August 18, not an earlier date in August as might be seen on some schedules.........

This might be double booked for St louis. The schedule says the 18th also has the Endicott Open.

Yeah........it's unfortunate but that is probably going to start happening more & more.......with more courses going in, more clubs running events, etc., etc. But there are more golfers too so, it's all good, I guess.

But I have to ask.....why would a tournament in August held at Endicott be called -- "The Endicott Open" ?? Isn't that what the C-tier in March is usually called?

Remember the good old days when we had a handful of courses and would get up on a weekend and drive to Columbia or Kansas City just so we could play someplace different? It wasn't that long ago.
