Here is some info on the 2011Triple Crown. This is a Ryder Cup Qualifier and Automatic Bid event.

Just because you carpool doesn't mean you should play in the same group. Triple Crown is a bit more of a competitive event, I think we have the ability, to flight after each round. If I have the best score I want my competition playing on my card. This increases the level of competition as everyone has an idea how they are doing. Turn in your card, the TD calls in the scores to the next course, and they write out the cards they should be ready by the time you get to the course; don't you think?

This event is one of the major events of the year, the top players in this match usually end up representing St. Louis Disc Golf in the Annual Ryder Cup Series.

This year, disc golf play is abundant; disc golf every weekend, and this weekend is no different, A POWER DISC GOLF WEEKEND, Sundays Triple Crown is the beginning of a very exciting run of disc golf for the St. Louis area.

As you see above we had two open divisions, we have done it both ways now and as far as I am concerned we can create one or both, I am easy, you show you pay you play.

But the question remains, who will be there this time, Perhaps Bryan Johnson still very hot off the St. Louis Open performance, and fresh off a victory last week where both he and Jerry "JAB" Barklage solidified spots in the top 8 spots eligible for this September’s Bluebird Regional. Will the young gunslinger Johnson play that many rounds of golf in one weekend and one wonders will the ageless wonder JAB pass on Saturday to battle this grueling Triple Crown event! Come play and you will find out how this story will turn out. Will Robo Shobo? Is Neil Brown Down? Can Dave Rose up? Does Corey "ACE" Uhle have enough fury? Can Roger Reyes Playes? Will T Sully Bully?

Special Shouts to Gary Saurez, and Curtis Simmons, these guys can play, Will Lee Gibson Play, Tommy Murdock may be on the lookout? I think I could go on and on, Brian Bingham, Jeff Irwin, MO & JOE Hart, Jeff “Clap for the Wolfman”, Brad Allen, John Kisker, Shawn Hopkins, Jimmy Misuraca. Hope your leg is better! Ronnie Robertson its only three rounds in one day!

Look at this Advanced Pool, where have some players that have moved up and some that will stay. In a Club event it always good to play up, you get to meet new people and you start to combine the fun of the sport with the competitiveness of playing together and against players who have scores that were similar to your own.

Remember it is why this club exists: To hold tournaments that bring players of like skill levels together to compete.

So move up, especially in a tournament like this, see how the better players grind out a tough spell, keeping bogies at bay.

Sunday Morning Creve Coeur course #1.

Registration 6am – 7:15am
Players Meeting 7:30am
If you are late and do not call me or text me before 7:30

Be there to start – Tee Off AT 8

After the first round, turn in your cards, the next round will start 90 minutes from the last card in. I will post the start time on this web site, the Slik Facebook page. Feel free to upload photos to the Slik Facebook as you play.

The leader board will have your starting hole assignments and your scorecards.

Round Two at Endicott:

Start at the assigned time, Repeat process above.
The only thing different is we may need more than 90 min to get to JB,
We will decide that at the end of Round 2

Round Three JB:

Just a great day, repeat process,

After the round we will pay out. I just got some really nice Innova in Archons, Apes, Discmania, Vibram.

I got some tie-dye, some Echo Star, some Bottom stamp Star Destroyers, Glow Valks, Makos and a bunch more light and 150 class stuff. (Red would be Proud)

I hope Dave drops off some of the new Drivers for our stock, Hint – Bring us Ten.

You can’t get on the Ryder cup without playin in a Ryder cup qualifier, its just not that easy.
OH yeah and finally the no TD thing, not quite sure what that is about, or do I???

I may need a little help, if anyone has some free time during the day, sweet give me a jingle, we can hook up like 6-8 am at Creve or 12-2 at Endi or 5 til dark at JB.

Round 1 started on time, No Late fee's
We did sign up about five new members, which is very cool, the players can play the tourney, and become a member. Thus they cannot win payout per tourney payout, but they are eligible for the ace pool and can still buy into the CTP's. Bring a friend, especially cool when we are currently at 500 dollars in the pool.

The CTP's were all cash, 3 per course, more than 75% of the field played; banking on making the one shot that could pay for your round!

Start time of the next round will be posted shortly.

After each round the cards will be shuffled by score, after round two, the divisons will be flighted.

Play moves to Endicott.

The players finish their rounds and wait for the scoring and shuffle, At that point they will head to JB for round Three.

JB will be a shotgun start, if you have time check it out.

Uhle battling tennis elbow may need to take up the sport with very few Americans left in the game of tennis, a surreal parrallel to the existance of pro's in St. Louis disc Golf scene, Where have they all gone.
