Jefferson Barracks Ice Bowl is this Saturday at Noon. Be there or be square. Please come early as we may be adding extra holes if there are more than 90 players. Registration starts at 10a. The Basket should be drawn as I expect we will have raised $200 by the end of the day. $5 buys 6 raffle tickets or 8 throws at the basket; each disc inside the 20' ring is 2 tickets for 1 disc; each disc inside the 30' ring is 1 for 1. Additional CTPs added. Please bring your disc or merchandise donations to the event to help us raise money for the Area Food Banks. Can goods are worth 1 raffle ticket each - no limit.
West City raised 211 pounds of food. Creve Coeur raised 181 pounds of food. I believe JB has some work to do.

This is a late reminder for JB Ice Bowl today, Jan 15 at 12p; please arrive early (10:30a). The weather is warming up so the possibility for more players is favorable. We will be adding extra holes if necessary. Johnny Macs donated $200 in gift cards for the remaining tournaments and we will be adding a couple of them to the CTP package. Slik has also donated some items so our CTP lineup is fat. We are adding a second CTP Package to the mix. $5 buy-in for 3, $2 50/50s; that is, there are 3 CTPs worth $1 each from every participant and the remaining $2 goes to charity. There are 7 CTPs in the original package and 3 CTPs in the second package.

This must be the year of keeping stats.
I spoke with Tim Wiegard regarding the format for Quail Ridge this Saturday. Tee time is still 10a so get there early so we can start on time. If we decide to play 2 rounds, we will have to start on time. That said; we will determine the morning of whether to play 1 round of 24 holes or 2 rounds of 18. The pertinent factors are the number of players and their willingness to grind out 2 rounds. I am leaning towards 1 round of 24 holes if the numbers show up as expected.
With 8+ inches of snow on the ground, this will be the most picturesque Ice Bowl of the Series. Reminder, we will be taking a picture of the field of players before teeing off. The Ice Bowl trophies look sweet. The West City and JB Trophies will be on display before the round. For those who don’t know the winners; Creve Coeur – Nikko Locastro, West City – Bryan Johnson, and Jefferson Barracks – Tom Murdick.

We have raised nearly $2000 and 600 pounds of food for the St Louis Area Food Bank which services St Charles and Jefferson Counties.
