The 2013 Ice Bowl Series - STL Area Food Bank Fundraisers

If you signed up for both rounds already, or sign up for both days individually, you qualify for the SPECIAL CTP. It will be held after the round at JB, somewhere around the Blackhawk Shelter. We will have some nice prizes up for grabs!

will there be someone at the JB ice bowl selling RCF memberships? I am finally coming out of hibernation and ready to play this weekend. also if anyone has been looking for the #1 St charles tag, i would recommend showing up at JB this weekend.

There should be a few people selling memberships on Saturday. Mark Dudenhoeffer will be running the event, and I am pretty sure that he has memberhips to sell, so he might be your man.

Here are the results from this past Saturday...

In addition to all of the fun that was had, everyone donated canned goods in the amount of 536 pounds! That is a tremendous start. Let's see if we can't match that or beat it this coming weekend at JB. Empty out those cupboards!

ALL of the division winners from last weekend will get their personalized plaques this coming weekend (or whenever we see you next). They are going to look really sweet! Don't forget that there will be divisional plaques up for grabs this weekend too...

There is also going to be an overall plaque started up again as well, so set your sights high and see if you can get your name etched into STL disc golf history forever!

Here is the CTP info for tomorrow...

ALL of the 50/50 holes are on the shortest holes on the course, so just about everyone should have no problem reaching them. The rest of the CTPs are on some of the easier holes, so you will need to dial those shots in!

Should be 50+ degrees by noon, so don't bother with the thermal underwear. Ice Bowl, eh?

Here are the results from the JB Ice Bowl...

I haven't heard the numbers from Bob yet, but the pile of canned goods appeared to be pretty nice for this tournament as well. There were LOTS of tickets in the raffle bucket! Bob also has the raffle winner list, so I will post that once I hear from him.

ALL of the division winners from JB will get their personalized plaques at the next STLDGC event - The Valentine Massacre Feb. 16 (or whenever we see you next). We will probably also have them on hand at the White Birch Ice Bowl. Neil Brown submitted a really nice icy disc golf photo, so they are going to look great! Don't forget that there still is the 2013 Ice Bowl Champion Annual plaque up for grabs too. Right now, Gary Suarez is in the driver's seat (112 total strokes) with a couple of golfers 6 strokes back. Anything can happen at White Birch...
