Lost Vibram Lace--- hole # 17-- Silver Lake, Highland

Postby jeffthrow6892 on Mon Sep 16, 2013 3:13 am

Well while playing in the 3-Man Throwdown at Silver Lake Park in Highland, Ill., I lost an orange/white Vibram Lace driver in all that tall grass on the right side of the B placement. It flipped over and is probably somewhere in the middle of all that tall crap........ Name & PDGA # are on the disc......

It's safe to say that MANY discs were lost in that stuff that day. One guy said they lost 4 discs on his card the first round. If anyone has the chance to get out there & look, they might find a bunch of plastic out there.......

Disc up Jeff,
No worries about it. They burned the grass last year and if they do it again, you will be able to find the burned charred carcass after that.

Crap. I've got a brand new STL Open Tern in that mess. I think there are enough of us that would donate a few bucks to have a guy go through with a weed whacker first... right?

As sad as it is to say that grass was beat down going into the tournament more than any other time that I recall. Its just tough because its so tall and you can't get a very accurate idea of how far it flew. I'm not sure when exactly they burn it. I managed to put 2 in there the day before the tournament but they both made it to the lost and found pile Sunday.

Disc up,
The LAKERS will be back out there before the burn off and as sure as Oprah likes baked ham, you can bet we will be back in the tall grass again. We will keep a eye out for yours and all others as well. ;)
