If you are at a course for an event for weekly events like doubles or singles, or an event held at a course....
Please let the course captain sell the memberships, during that time frame, or at least find out if the captain has tags first....

I think what Mkane is trying to say is that when a course captain is running a weekly event. And someone is interested in joining the club that is going to playing in the event. Maybe it would be more appropriate to let the person that is running the event sell the membership.

I don't give a you know what about a free basket. I just know that we are trying to get our membership up and I would like to feel that I am doing my part. If someone takes over a course and starts a league and does the work at the course don't you think he or she should enjoy the benefits of meeting and welcoming into the club the person that is joining at the league that the person started. Why even give me memberships if I'm not going to get the chance to sell them.

As of 6/6/2010 we have 133 new members as a result of our membership drive. Just 667 to go to reach our goal of 1000 members by August 1st. Johnny Macs gave us 1000 handouts for a free disc when you buy 3. Every member can get one of these handouts as a benefit of membership. Thank you all for supporting us and your courses. Encourage your friends to join us. Get some 'Are you an RCF member yet?' handouts and help us get to 1000 strong. The politicians will listen to 1000 voices asking for more disc golf courses.
