stupid question maybe, but i don't remember there being THAT much space in that part of the park the last time i drove through..

That part of the park is not developed, but it is heavily wooded, and not as spacious as one would like to have. The northeast corner is far more open for our needs.

Whahoo! For some reason or an other my user name wacked out on me and I haven't been able to reply to this thread for a long time. So.........

Forest park is still on the table.

Stienberg rink area is out.

When the Forest Park Forever Committee gets to the proposed areas for improvements then I will be back in the process of proposing a disc golf course in forest park.

The two areas in mind are the softball fields by the Muny (So part of Dave's design played Feb. '11 is still a possibility), and the rugby fields along Lindel blvd between the history museum and a Victorian house at Union.

But the whole project is on hold until they get to those sections of the park for renovations, which could be a year or three. We shall see.

I will stay on top of this and let you know more as I do and my as long as i can remember my user name and password.
