Ace Race at Hazelwood Oct 17th

There will be an ace race at Hazelwood on Saturday October 17th.

Play begins at 1:00 p.m.

Cost: $25.00

You get two Discraft prototype discs, a SuperColor mini, and a Discraft hat.

Basically two tournaments in one. The first two rounds will be for Discraft prizes, using the discs provided in your players pack. Then a third round will be using your own discs with trophies provided by Hazelwood Parks.

It should be a lot of fun. Come on out. What a better course to have an Ace Race!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you would like to attend the Ace Race on October 17th and get the Discraft package of goodies, Preregister by posting on here that you will be coming or call the park office at 731-0980 & let them know you are coming!

You do not have to pay until that day, but they need to know how many packages to order.

I think they are going to be a little conservative here so don't be left out.

Right now they only have 35 packages & I think there should be more, so please call them or post here.

The deadline I got from them for preregistration is next Tuesday October 6th.

Here are some more details on this event.

The Ace Race consists of two separate tournaments. The first will be two rounds of 18, one shot only, using one or both of the discs provided in the tournament package. There will be only one division, with prizes going out to at least 6th place. Hit any metal from the shortened tees and get 1 point. All aces will be worth 20 points. Prizes will then be awarded according to the top point totals.

The second tournament will use the same rules ( one shot at each hole), with nice trophies for 1st - 3rd in only one division. The big difference is that you can use any disc you want in this part.

We may have some other prizes to make the prize out a little deeper.

There will be an ace pool that will be given to the person with the most aces ( 1.00 extra )

Hey Greg, uh this is info for LAST YEARS Ace Race, this year's info can be found in the tournaments section!! The big difference is that we are teeing earlier this time, 10:00 instead of 1:00PM.......
