This is it!!
Sunday, August 9, 2009 The TRAVELING LAKER LEAGUE will be at Festus for the big 27 hole round. We will start at Jokerst around 09:00 for a quick 9 holes, then on to West City for 18 holes of fun. This usually turns out to end around 2-3 in the afternoon, so plan accordingly. Maybe you can only make one or the other courses, that’s all right. Come on out anyway….. because it is fun to play!!

I think someone knows how to cut and paste .... No safari golf for you guys, maybe if you get off the fairway, but overall not bad. Enjoy the game for me

Festus disc golfers are like Ferris Bueller, " they are rightious dudes & dudettes". You made the LAKERS feel like you had the courses all cleaned up with mowed fairways just for us. I like the idea of huge fairways but if you throw very bad it is huge rough 6' to 10' tall with itch weed. Makes it so you don't need a perfect throw but you do get punished, severly, if you have a really bag griplock/sliplock type throw. And when that forceful, if not errant, throw does go into the rough ya'll dive straight into it like no other group we have seen. Love playin with ya, and will probably talk to you soon.

On Sunday August 29, 2010 at 9am, the Traveling LAKER League will be playing at West City DGC. In addition to the regular LAKER League round, this will also be 1 of the seeding rounds for the Traveling Outlaw Event at Lemon Lakes in mid-September. Come on out and shoot a round with the LAKERS, you never know, you could become the next outlaw!!

West City only, this Sunday. We should do a split 9 next Sunday morning starting @ Jokerst then driving to Arnold, or bassackwards. I should be able to find out after LAKER League on Sunday & will post it shortly there after. Hmmm, holiday weekend next weekend, maybe St. Gen?????
