course unplayable 11/9/09

i'm sure most who frequent the board, and the course, know this already (even though i didn't), but unger is flooded and unplayable as of 11/9/09. the park gates are open, but everything from the pin for #4 to the usual lake boundry is underwater, including all of holes 5/6/7.

it would be great (and appreciated) if someone could keep folks informed via the message board of park closures and/or unplayable course conditions. if no one else beats me to it (feel free to beat me to it), i'll update this post when next i find the course in playable shape.

Thanks for the update, fair weather. I was going to make a road trip that way this w/e. Guess I'll stay high and dry at Quail ridge.

I was hoping the newly appointed Course Captain of Unger would do just that.

Unger is still flooded as of the 11th also up to about 7's basket.

you can just see the top of 5's basket. The water seemes like it is going own decently fast though. I think it is supposed to rain sunday through wednesday next week which wont help. Redarmy you going to be at the work days i can bring the sidewinder by if you are.

1-3 playable
4 green soggy as usual
5-6 unplayable
7 playable but soggy
8 soggy tee pad but playable
9-10 playable but 10 green soggy around the circle
11 basket dry by 4 feet
12 playable but slick
13-14 unplayable
15-18 playable
