The charity ball golf tournament will be held at Incline Village. I believe Greg said the league would be sponsoring hole #7. I'm sure Dan will get some flyers for us to hand out. I haven't swung a set of clubs for years, but I think I might just have to make it out for this to embarass myself! I know there will be some other league members playing in it as well.

WEEK 1 OF LEAGUE

Not quite a full field, but it was pretty close. I’m sure there will be one or two teams that sign up next week. There is one guy looking for a partner if you are interested.

There was $65 paid into the ace pool to bring the total to $243. There were two aces hit. Simon Hart gets hole # 2 and Dan Moss hits hole # 11. Nice aces guys! Ace pool pays out 70%, so $170 will be split between Simon and Dan. There will be $73 carrying over.

A quick reminder that I will keep the normal payout I have been using for the ace pool for the first four weeks. In weeks 5, 6 and 7 it will pay out 90%. The final week will be paid out 100%. If no aces are hit the final week I will be giving it away somehow.

There were two CTP’s. Simon Hart takes hole # 2 with his ace. Greg Kuehn gets hole # 8.

Below are the scores. The score on the left in bold is your total with NO drop weeks. There will be a total of TWO drop weeks. The weekly scores are to the right. Scores with an * are played cali. Your score is a 126 if neither partner shows up.

Nice, looks like we have a nice A Flight shaping up. I'm playing cali next week.

Does anyone know the exact rule on aces hit during a cali round. I think Andy said after a certain # of weeks playing cali you can only count your first drive for the ace. I would like to know for future reference.

I think I might know the rule on aces when you play cali...

Both of your drives will count for aces for 4 weeks when you play cali. Anything over 4 weeks and only your first throw counts. If you are playing any more then 4 weeks of cali then your scores don't really count anyways since I keep a minimum of 4 weeks of scores where both partners show up. There have been teams in the past that have not had a partner and had to play all 8 weeks cali. It was the same with them. The first 4 weeks both of their drives counted, but the final 4 weeks only the first throw counted. Hope that answers your question.

I know there were a few people waiting for the discs to show up on Tuesday night. I saw at a quarter after five it looked like they were there after many players had gone out, however by quarter after six there was no one to be seen when those who started playing early were coming in. What is up?
