It sounds good now but when I hit an ace tomorrow I might bitch a little. Anyway, I hope there are some good teams (other than Joe and Simon) so Slayer and I have some decent competition. I'd hate to run away w/ the lead one or two weeks into this thing. Its so much more fun when peolple think they have a chance. See you suckers tomorrow.

Hold on there. I think you are talking crap a little early. Andy said he's excited about league, so I am hoping that means he's excited about me carrying our team over you to the top of A flight. Gflap and Dobber, you better have our 2 - 30 Paks ready for the last week of leage.

Let the crap flinging start.

There were a lot of teams switching up partners this year. A lot of other guys that I haven’t seen or talked to in a while. Not really sure who the top teams might be.

And you got to love my partner making side bets and talking trash coming off a cracked rib. Oh well, at least the bet is against flapper and dobber. Should be like taking candy from a baby. Yeah I said it…Bring it on!

It was great to see so many people and so many new people out for the first league of the year. I think the wind kicked everyone's ass. I'm using that as my excuse along with a cracked rib. Stay tuned to next week for another excuse.

Other than that, I've learned my lesson about talking trash. I have to wait until AFTER we shoot a good round, not before shooting a crappy one.

I'll be out Friday, Sat. and Sun practicing for anyone who wants tag 115.

WEEK 1 OF LEAGUE

There was $62 paid into the ace pool. Sarah Hokom hit an ace on hole #10. Very nice! Ace pool pays out 50%, so $31 goes to Sarah with $31 carrying over. Sorry to see you be the first one to hit an ace under the new payout structure.

There were two CTP’s. Below are the winners.
1 – Pascal Galmiche
11 – Drew Peterson

Below are the scores. The score on the left in bold is your total. The weekly scores are to the right. Scores with an * are played cali. Your score is a 126 if neither partner shows up.

A few other quick things.

When I add up the scorecards it isn’t always the same as what is written down. If you think I may have done something incorrectly please let me know. I keep the scorecards in my car, so we can double-check them if needed.

Jim Misuraca – I have your scores, but wasn’t sure what you planned on doing. I’ll get you added to the list once I know what is up. As much trash talking as you did on the JB league thread though you may not want to back out now!

Morgan & Eric – How many times did you guys have to start over to shoot a 39???!!! Just kidding Slayer…nice shooting guys!

Just out of curiousity do you battle for tags during the league?

No, tags are not on the line during league. Normally I never do tags with doubles even during casual play. I would like to possibly see tags on the line during league, but there are enough reasons not to that we haven't. Give me a convincing argument though and I may change my mind...

I wanted to quickly clarify my last post. If anyone wants to play for tags during league they are certainly able to. It's just not required.
