Sorry I haven't been able to post the detailed scores yet, work finally got in the way...lol.

Anyway, not that my opinion matters too much here, but here are my thoughts.

We did say that we would do 3 "flights" from the get go... but that was before we knew
we wouldn't have the same number of teams from the summer session. We had 22 or 23 teams
from summer while we have 21 now, but I think the Sandersons are not "officially" in the fall league.
If they are not, then that makes only 20 teams... 11 Pro and 9 Ams with a real natural break in
divisions makes a LOT of sense to me. Competition for the top 3 spots would be really tight in
both flights if we do two flights.

Again though, Greg (and I) did say that we were doing 3 flights. So I would understand if a few
folks had serious heartburn with doing only 2 after thinking 3 all league. Although, the way we
play shouldn't change regardless of what flights break out to be.

I calculated ratings every week for every team. I analyzed the teams and their ratings from week
to week as well as comparing the ratings to the same teams as summer league, and it is apparent
that there is no sandbagging going on. There are a few anomalies, but these were due to hot
rounds that had nothing to do with where that particular team was in the flights (for either summer
or fall leagues).

Greg and I are quite confident that the breaks, while close for the 3 flight breakout,
as well as if we break out 2 flights this league, is mathematically sound. Based on scores, as well
as ratings.

My opinion is to have two flights, 11 Pro and 9 (or 10 if the sandersons are still in league) for the ams.

BTW, I am donating a lot of plastic for CTPs for the final week of league. One set of discs for the
Pros CTPs and one set for the Ams CTPs. So you will be competing against your own flight for the
CTPs, not everyone in league. How about them apples?

Keep in mind, if no one hits an ace next week (Sept. 22nd), then the final week of league (Sept. 29),
Greg will put put out multiple CTPs for the Ace moneys.... and I just realized, I will NOT be here for it.

I think 3 division splits keeps the field more competetive. The scores indicate that if we split the divsions in 2 most of the teams are way out of contention. AS most people know I really don't care if I win or not so my opionion isnt bias at any point in those statements.

I HATE to agree w/ Tyler, but the more teams in actual competition for the final 2 weeks the better, so I say 3 divisions........unless you bump me & Andrew down to AM

i have to agree with tyler an strange. 3 divisions gives everybody a chance to place. the idea of more of a payout for only two is nice but that just puts way to many people out of contention. if there is only two divisions there should be some kind of a handicap for the newer players other wise it might run some players away from league since they would not have a chance. i dont know of any kind of handicaps ever used in disc golf besides a cali. but then again its already doubles. its just a thoght.

splits. This system is modeled after the PDGA ratings system, but we are adapted
for Doubles league play. This should help make it fair to all. There are two key words
in the previous sentence, Help and Fair.
