I can't believe we are at the last week of league already. Wow...

I think Greg was thinking the last week of league needs to be all long (er more difficult)
except for two holes for the 50/50.

Just what I heard anyway.. I tend to agree though...

Rich Nunn asked that I post the following earth shattering news:

There will be a fish fry after league next week, so BYOTS (that's bring you own tartar sauce)

Scores after week 7 for JB Summer Doubles League

Postby gottagothrow on Wed Jul 22, 2009 6:24 pm

After the 7th week of League

Only ONE MORE week of Summer League... wow.

No Aces were hit so the Ace Pool is still split.
Ace Pool # 1 is $ 200
Ace Pool # 2 is $ 126

After some careful analysis, Greg went ahead and made some changes. There are bound to be some upset groups. Greg made the changes based on the numbers and his knowledge of the golfers involved. The changes also make the most logical sense for the payouts. This way, the Pro Division is getting the highest payout, and that is the way it should be.

These divisional splits are now SET IN STONE!

Thanks for your patience and understanding. If that is not the case, TALK TO THE HAND!

The 1st number (in bold) is the score WITH ONE drop week taken out.
The 2nd number is simply the TOTAL (raw) Score.
Each of the numbers after the team name is 1st week, 2nd week, etc etc...
I have added a new feature, the drop week is in bold.

The teams are sorted USING the drop week score.

Pro Division

254 ~ 305 - Chris Boro / Ryan Robbins 44 42 42 42 43 51 41
267 ~ 393 - Neil Brown / Dan Doke 45 41 41 46 47 126* 47

Yea I am bummed in a minor way. This would have been #5 for worlds. I offer up to anyone that had a desire/goal, my best is 20th in masters. Get better than 20th in any division and I will pay attention. Next year is another and you never count me out of world championships. I give total props to anybody players that are going from STL and the Quail boys. Good luck and my best wishes to them all. This year did not work for me, but the next one is only 12 months :)

Good luck to all of the warriors going to worlds. I saw 4 of them practicing today. This is not a local tournament nor a B tier/A tier. Only the players that are truly players, and the best of the best. The biggest question I have to any of the new players, are you one of them?

Peace,
Ron

I heard D'oh thinking out loud about putting "mandatory" cards together, but no shotgun starts.
Mandatory cards = top two teams, then 3rd and 4th place teams in each division get cards together.

IE
Boro/Robbins and Brown/Doke go out together (although, I see little chance 13 strokes will be made up in one week.

Then Reyes/Bickell and Andy/Ron go out together, then the same for Adv. Ams...
Wow, only 4 strokes separate 1st to 4th in that division.

Good idea, but not sure we all show up close enough to the same time to go out together.

and he was just thinking about doing it that way.... perhaps he will shed some light on it soon?...
