PDGA “C” Tiers:
We have finalized the PDGA “C” Tiers in March. Here are both Flyers. The 1st page is Ams, and 2nd page is the Pros and Advanced divisions. Please look over the flyers for the details of the tournaments.
Here are some highlights:
- Pros and Advanced play the Endicott Open Saturday while the rest of the divisions play
the the Sioux Passage Open (also Saturday). - Pros and Advanced play the Sioux Passage Open Sunday while the rest of the divisions
play the Endicott Open (also Sunday). - Play both of your tournaments and receive a discounted rate.
- This is a GREAT opportunity to renew your PDGA memberships (at a discount for RCF
members under the PDGA Affiliate Program. See details in the next paragraph) - Play two of the premiere courses used for the St. Louis Open in May.
- Take advantage of pre-registration through Dynamic Discs and receive a bonus in your players pack.
- Ace pool for all players.
PDGA Affiliate Program
In 2008 St. Louis became part of the PDGA Affiliate Program which is a program designed to get more disc golfers involved in PDGA events and save them money at the same time. The program offers a discount to members that sign up through an affiliate program like the St. Louis Disc Golf Club.
In 2009 we signed up more members for the PDGA through the Affiliate Program than any other club/city in the United States! We signed up 60 members between the March C-Tiers and the St. Louis Open. For this achievement we were awarded $100 to use at their on-line store.
The RCF is once again going to continue this great program for 2010. RCF members will receive a $5 discount when signing up through the RCF. Just follow this Link.
Once you are a member of the PDGA, you can also take the PDGA Officials test for free and help the PDGA events in St. Louis (it’s an open book test). The regular fee is $10.
If you plan on playing in the St. Louis March “C” tiers or the PDGA “A” Tier St. Louis Open, then this is a great way to support disc golf and get your required (for the “A” Tier) PDGA membership out of the way now saving time and effort the day of the tournament.
